TRADITIONAL CHINESE ACUPRESSURE
REMEDIAL - RELAXATION - PREVENTATIVE
Although often considered a poor cousin of acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Acupressure can in fact have a profound effect on the mind and body when applied appropriately, especially when a more comprehensive treatment is given.
One of the main distinguishing features of my style of acupressure is the number of acupoints used. In some cases, 30 to 50 points may be used in the course of a treatment to achieve a powerful systemic effect, sometimes taking up to an hour or more.
Treatment involves systematically applying pressure to a number of selected acupuncture points; it may also include other techniques such as massage and stretches. Dietary and other self help advice may be provided where required. The techniques and number of points used varies according to the situation.
People often drift off or fall asleep during a longer treatment.
Where appropriate, acupressure can also be applied to a few select acupoints during a massage, before or after a cupping, Physiokey or other treatment.
Traditional Chinese Acupressure may be used to assist in the treatment of a wide range of common problems, including:
STRESS – BACK PAIN - HEADACHE - TIGHT MUSCLES - SPRAINS & STRAINS – FATIGUE ... and more
